Data Deletion

How to disconnect your Google, YouTube, Facebook or Instagram account from SOQO, and how to ask us to delete your personal data.

SOQO Platforms Pvt Ltd · Last updated 6 October 2026

You are in control of your data. You can stop SOQO’s access to a connected account at any time, and you can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you, including data we received from Google and Meta. This page explains how. It supports the commitments in our Privacy Policy.

1. Disconnect a connected account

Disconnecting stops SOQO from receiving any new data from that account.

Google / YouTube

  1. Open your Google Account permissions page (Security → Your connections to third-party apps and services).
  2. Select SOQO.
  3. Choose Delete all connections (or Remove access) and confirm.

Facebook

  1. Go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites (or Business Integrations).
  2. Find SOQO in the Active list and select Remove.
  3. Choose whether to also delete posts, photos or videos SOQO may have posted (SOQO does not post on your behalf), then confirm.

Instagram

  1. Go to Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites (or Accounts Center → Apps and websites).
  2. Select SOQO and tap Remove.

When you remove SOQO this way, the platform notifies us and we automatically begin deleting the data we received from it.

2. Request deletion of your data

To have us delete your SOQO account and personal data, email us from the address registered with SOQO:

  • To: privacy@soqo.com
  • Subject: Data Deletion Request
  • Include: your full name, the email address on your SOQO account, and the Instagram, Facebook or YouTube handle you connected (if any).
  • Say whether you want: (a) deletion of all your data and account, or (b) deletion of data from connected Google/Meta accounts only.

Email a deletion request

We may ask you to confirm your identity (for example by replying from your registered email) so that nobody can delete your data without your authority.

3. What we delete

  • Your profile, account details and preferences.
  • Access tokens and all data received from your connected Google/YouTube and Meta/Instagram accounts, including channel and account details, media metadata, and analytics and audience insights.
  • Content, messages and files you uploaded, except where they are part of a record described below.
  • Your marketing and communication preferences. (We keep a minimal suppression record so we do not email you again.)

4. What we may keep

We keep only what the law or a legitimate security need requires, for the shortest period needed: invoices, payment and tax records (for example under GST and income tax law); records needed to detect fraud or abuse; and records needed to resolve a dispute or comply with legal process. Retained data is kept restricted and is not used for any other purpose. Data from Google and Meta APIs is not retained for these purposes.

If you shared campaign information with a brand or agency before deleting, those users may keep copies they already received. They control that data under their own policies.

5. Timeline

  1. Within 48 hours: we confirm we received your request.
  2. Within 30 days: we delete or anonymise your data from live systems and email you a confirmation.
  3. Backups: encrypted backups are overwritten on their normal rotation cycle.

6. Need help?
