Creator rate cards: how to price your work with confidence
3 July 2026 · 5 min read
Pricing is the part of the creator business nobody teaches. Here is a simple way to think about it.
Price the work, then the reach
Start with your time: concepting, shooting, editing and revisions. Then layer on what the brand gets from your audience. Reach matters, but so does engagement quality in a specific niche.
Be explicit about usage rights
If a brand wants to run your content as paid ads or reuse it on their own channels, that is a separate line item from the post itself. Put the duration and channels in writing.
Offer packages, not just single posts
Bundles — for example a Reel plus Stories plus a link in bio — make it easier for brands to say yes and give you steadier income.
Keep it updated
Review your rate card every quarter. As your audience and results grow, your prices should too.
